Survey: Kalahati ng nagmamahal kay Cory, ‘di boboto kay Noynoy

MANILA – Si dating Pangulong Corazon Aquino ang pinakamamahal na lider ng mga Pilipino, ngunit kalahati lamang sa kanila ang boboto sa anak nitong si Senador Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III sa panguluhang halalan sa Mayo, ayon sa Pulse Asia survey.

Inihayag ng Pulse Asia nitong Biyernes na lumitaw na 52 percent sa 1,800 respondents na tinanong nitong Enero 22-26, ang sumagot na mayroon silang lider (buhay man o patay) na minamahal.

Sa naturang datos, 35 porsiyento sa kanila ang nagsabing si Cory ang pinakamahal nilang lider, at malayong pangalawa na si dating Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos (14.8%). Sumunod sina dating pangulong Joseph Estrada (12.8%); dating senador Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr. (8.4%) at dating pangulong Ramon Magsaysay (6.6%).

Survey: Villar one of RP’s most beloved political leaders

The camp of Sen. Manny Villar on Saturday expressed elation on the results of a new Pulse Asia survey showing the Nacionalista Party (NP) standard-bearer making it into the top list of most beloved national political leader.

Although the late former president Corazon Aquino and her husband Ninoy were Number 1 and Number 2, respectively, Villar placed No. 6 beating his closest rival Noynoy Aquino who did not even make it into the Top 15.

The Pulse Asia survey, conducted on Jan. 22 to 26, showed that Noynoy languishing anywhere from 20th to 28th place.
