The Movement for Better Values (MBV) launched yesterday an entrepreneur summit in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija, to encourage the youth and young professionals adopt the ideals of economic success.
Conducted at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), the Young Entrepreneurs Summit (YES) advocates values-based entrepreneurship as core for the country’s real development through ensured access to skills, tools and institutions.
As part of its advocacy program, the MBV pledged to donate P100,000 to the students.
“The students and the school authorities can use the money as seed capital to put up income-generating projects for the students, specially those whose families are affected by the El Nino,” the MBV said in its statement.
The summit aims to push the youth who wants to be entrepreneurs by providing them long-term support through correct values, proper training and access to institutional support to ensure success.
